TummyTrail (“the App”) is made by Dasfair LLC (“we,” “us,” “our”), an independent, veteran-owned company based in Euclid, Ohio, USA. This policy explains what information the App handles and — more importantly — what it doesn’t.
The short version
Your health data stays on your device. We never see it.
TummyTrail stores everything you log — symptoms, meals, notes, and settings — locally on your phone. We do not operate a server that receives your health data. We cannot read it, sell it, share it, or lose it in a breach, because it never leaves your device.
What the App stores on your device
When you use TummyTrail, the App saves the following on your device only:
- Symptom entries, severity ratings, and timestamps
- Food, meal, and drink logs
- Notes and tags you attach to entries
- Reminder schedules and App preferences
This data is stored in the App’s private storage area on your phone. It is deleted when you delete the App (see “Deleting your data” below).
What we do NOT collect
- We do not collect, transmit, or store your health or symptom data on any server
- We do not require or offer user accounts — there is nothing to sign up for
- We do not use analytics or tracking SDKs
- We do not show ads or use advertising identifiers
- We do not sell or share personal information with anyone, for any purpose
- We do not use your health data for advertising or marketing of any kind
The one third-party service we use: purchases
If you subscribe to TummyTrail Premium, the purchase is processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) — we never see your payment card details. To manage subscriptions, we use RevenueCat, a subscription-management service. RevenueCat receives limited, non-health information: an anonymous randomly generated identifier for your App install, your purchase history for this App (product, price, date, subscription status), and basic device information (device model, OS version, region, App version). RevenueCat processes this on our behalf to unlock your Premium features and handle renewals and refunds. RevenueCat does not receive any of your symptom, food, or health data. You can read RevenueCat’s privacy policy at https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy.
Notifications
Reminders (for example, “time to log your symptoms”) are local notifications scheduled on your device by the App itself. No push-notification service or server is involved. You can turn them off anytime in the App’s settings or your phone’s notification settings.
Deleting your data
Your data is yours. To erase everything, use Settings → Delete All Data inside the App, or simply delete the App from your device — both permanently remove all locally stored entries. If you use your phone’s system backup (iCloud or Google backup), copies may exist in those backups under your control; consult Apple or Google’s documentation to manage them. We cannot delete data from your personal device backups because we have no access to them.
If you purchased a subscription, RevenueCat retains the anonymous purchase records described above. To request deletion of those records, contact us at support@tummytrail.com and we will process the request with RevenueCat.
Children’s privacy
TummyTrail is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the App collects no personal information on our servers in the first place, no such data exists for us to hold. If you believe a child has subscribed to Premium via a family account, contact us and we will assist.
Your rights (GDPR, CCPA, and similar laws)
Privacy laws in some regions grant rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal data, and to opt out of its sale. Because your health data exists only on your device, you already have complete, direct control over it — you can view, edit, export, or delete it in the App at any time, and there is no sale of data to opt out of. For the limited RevenueCat purchase records, contact us at support@tummytrail.com to exercise access or deletion rights, and we will respond within the timelines required by applicable law.
Data security
On-device data is protected by your phone’s built-in security (device encryption and your passcode/biometrics). We recommend keeping a device passcode enabled. Because we hold no copy of your data, there is no TummyTrail server for anyone to breach.
Changes to this policy
If a future version of the App changes what data is handled (for example, adding optional cloud backup or crash reporting), we will update this policy before that version ships, update the “Last updated” date, and summarize the change in the App’s release notes. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
